Ski School
In Vals the ski and snowboard schools are combined under the name Mountaineering Vals. During the winter season the school has a wide range of offerings.
The program for kids focuses on classic skiing and snowboarding lessons. Here, kids of all levels, from greenhorns to champions, learn their skills in a playful way that emphasizes the fun aspect. Lessons also include children’s races and other fun stuff (kids disco, puppet shows, etc.) Child care is also available upon request. Group classes are available to adults as well. And for people thinking about switching to trendy snow sports (snowboarding, carving, and telemark skiing) we offer special introductory courses that are very popular.
Mountaineering Vals almost always uses just local “pros.” In addition to their expertise on their skis and boards, these “freaks” also know the valley and mountains inside and out. Born adventurers and people who are simply fed up with the usual routine can take the freeride classes without sacrificing safety. For many, the skiing highlight on Dachberg is the Zervreila tour with its powder snow descent all the way down to the Zervreila lake.
And of course we offer fun and group events for adults too: tobogganing in Zervreila and guided snowshoe tours.
